Dr. Shiming Luo is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and surgeon focused on providing specialized care for a wide range of ophthalmic conditions. Dr. Luo is thrilled to be joining the EPN family of leading eye specialists in the Pioneer Valley region, bringing with her strong experience in caring for diverse patient populations across the Midwest.

Originally from Southern China / New York City, Dr. Luo completed her undergraduate studies in engineering at Cornell University, followed by pre-medical studies at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her medical degree from the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. Dr. Luo then underwent rigorous training under world-renowned ophthalmic surgeons at the Cincinnati Eye Institute, in conjunction with the high-volume Level 1 Trauma Center at the University of Cincinnati, where she was recognized for her surgical excellence.

A dedicated researcher and clinician, Dr. Luo has been inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and recognized for her work with awards from Research to Prevent Blindness and the National Institute of Health. She employs a thoughtful, patient-centered approach, utilizing the latest intraocular lens and laser technologies to provide high-impact, personalized care.
